I love when I find things for kids that are funny and whimsical without being too creepy. Massimo Giacon, an Italian comic strip artist, designed the above porcelain plates for Alessi from the series "Family Follows Function". I love them, they're uninhibited, smart, and cute. Is it ok to get them if you don't have kids yet? If so I might get them. They're $34 for a set of two on The Hive Modern website.
