In an effort to convince me to move to the Windy City with him, Matt emailed me a list of cool Chicago design stores that he thought I would like. One on the list is Art Effect, a modern day general store on West Armitage. It really is a modern general store, I found a bunch of useful things to blog about, but I felt a need to focus on the above "Abas" passport covers. Maybe because lately everyone I know is jetting off to France. My friends Katie + Mark are going next week, and so is my other friend Katie who I ran into at a French bistro yesterday, my friend Ashley is headed to the South of France via the Chunnel (she lives in London), and my friend Heather emailed me a few days ago from Charles de Gaulle. Is it because it's Spring? Can I get in on this somehow?
