Atomic Bonsai Kit

My apartment and I have a love/hate relationship with each other. It gets very little sun light, which can make it feel like a cavernous black hole in the winter, but in the dry and often-unbearable heat of an L.A. summer, it stays nice and cool (no central air in this building built in 1929 and hardly changed since). The downside is: it's extremely difficult to develop my horticultural skills when plants need sunlight to grow. The solution? The Atomic Bonsai Kit (ok, I know there are better solutions like those pots that give plants UV rays and vitamins, etc.). Fashioned from several pieces of cardboard, Atomic Bonsai is easily assembled sans scissors or glue. Available at Chocosho for $20. This could make an nice office gift or a little present for a youngster.
