This is a really interesting piece, more for its concept than for decorating purposes, but still right up my alley. It's called Blind Stool ($1,900) and is essentially a found stool from a duck blind in Northern Ontario that has been cast in aluminum. The piece is the result of a collaboration between Castor Designs and an unknown hunter. The wood grain, screws, and rust patina are all in intact after casting—which is so cool. I love how the metallic material is preserving a weathered rustic object. You can learn more or purchase the Blind Stool right here at New York's Matter.
