Free giveaway!

Hello friends. I'm a little burned out on online design and shopping today so instead of something to buy, I just want to tell you that you'll get a free present tonight just by going outside! The moon is going to be the biggest and brightest full moon to be seen for 15 years. How? Well, each month the Moon makes a full orbit around the Earth in a slightly oval-shaped path, and tonight it will swing by the Earth at its closest distance. It will pass by only 221,595 miles away, which is about 17,000 miles closer than average. The unusual feature of tonight is that the closeness also coincides with a full moon, which will make it appear 14% bigger and some 30% brighter than most full moons this year, so long as the clouds hold off from blocking the view, you're in for a treat. So get up on your roof in your jackets and mittens and have and glass of champagne and toast to this totally free lunar spectacle. Have a great weekend!

How lovely to honor Grandmother Moon and her gift of illumination.
She does give us much, including inspiring our concept of time. Some have said the Moon was our first clock. With the snow on our ground her exceptional light tonight will be even brighter in the reflection. A real treat for sure. Moonmommare
