Speaking of doing good, you may have seen some of the billboards around with Red RAZRs, Gap Shirts, and iPods for (RED), a global campaign to fight AIDS. Interestingly it's not a charity, it's actually a business model. Simply put, if consumers buy (RED) products (at no extra cost) the company will give a portion of the profits to buy and distribute anti-retroviral medicine to fight AIDS in Africa. For example, my dad (who is involved with another great AIDS initiative through the Clinton Foundation) just bought the (RED) iPod—he gets a great iPod, and Apple donates—very simple. I had to show the (RED) American Express card because of how cool it looks, but what I'm really excited about is the *replication* of the Eero Saarinen Tulip chair, available at ModernDose for $299 with $50 going to (RED). Get a great chair and join a great cause.
