Trotter's To Go

Matt, Hare, and I all walked over to Lincoln Park with a picnic today and it was lovely. The panoramic lake views and sunny weather were all fine, but what made it really great was our lunch. On the way we stopped at Trotter's To Go, which is like the world-famous Charlie Trotter's restaurant, except it's take-out food. Yep, fresh, seasonal, genius. I had a pineapple, mango, cucumber and jicama salad and it was really really good. I think I may go back for another one. Trotter's To Go at 1337 West Fullerton in Chicago.

I love Trotters To Go - try the tuna tartare sometime... it's really good as a little appetizer on some sesame crackers...
