We headed downtown on this appropriately cloudy Saturday morning to check out the flower market with some friends. I had never been, and it's totally worth doing as the prices are low and the supply is high. I scooped up a few big bunches of grey hydrangea—which I've never seen before and think is a little unusual and a lot chic. The dark grey adds a nice wintery tone to our apartment for the time being. There's lots of great holiday stuff, check it all out on the 700 block of Wall Street. Our friend Alex also gave us a fresh little bunch of mistletoe—watch out Matt!

Stunning flowers. Who knew hydrangeas came in gray? Beautiful vase paring. - CQ
