Hendrick's + Tonic

I've been getting some requests from people to blog about Hendrick's, a small batch, handcrafted, Scotish gin infused with cucumbers. One reason I like it so much is because it comes in a short black bottle that looks like it is from the 19th century (which looks great on your bar) and the other reason is that it tastes better than any gin I've ever had. Paired with some Stirrings tonic water (a newish mixer brand that I really like), a few slices of cucumber, and you've got yourself a refreshing weekend tipple.

Here's the recipe:

2 oz. Hendrick's Gin
Stirrings tonic water
four thinly sliced cucumbers
ice

Pour Hendrick's Gin into highball glass over ice cubes and cucumber slices and fill with tonic water. Stir. Drink.

P.S. This makes an excellent host or hostess gift for any gin drinkers you know.
